Dispute Resolution
Who can raise a dispute
The buyer or the seller on a completed order may open a dispute.
The process
- Open a dispute on the order, describing the issue.
- The counterparty (typically the seller) may propose a resolution.
- The person who opened it can reopen within a 7-day window if unsatisfied, or accept and close.
- The seller can never unilaterally close a dispute against themselves.
- If a dispute stalls, TruSeller can close it after review (recorded as a platform action).
Records & fairness
Every step is recorded in an audit trail. Parties are shown by role (buyer / seller), never by personal identifiers. TruSeller reports factual, computed outcomes — it does not take sides beyond enforcing this process.
