Buyer Protection
Protection on TruSeller comes from how the marketplace is built, not from holding your money.
How you’re protected
- Cash on Delivery by default — for new sellers you pay only when you receive the item.
- Online prepayment is limited to reputation-verified sellers.
- OTP-verified delivery — an order is only complete once you share your one-time delivery code.
- Verified identity — every buyer and seller verifies a phone number; fraud and duplicate accounts are detected.
- Disputes — you can report a problem on a completed order and track it to resolution.
- Refunds — where due, returned to your original payment method by the seller through the gateway.
Raising a dispute
Open a dispute from your order. The seller can propose a resolution; you can reopen it within the review window or accept and close it. If a dispute stalls, TruSeller can step in to close it. See Dispute Resolution.
